Why I’m Running

My name is Diana Hettenbaugh, and I'm running for the Bennington Public Schools Board of Education this November. My family and I have proudly called Bennington home for the last 13 years, and I'm a wife and mother of three children currently enrolled in the district.

I know firsthand what it means to raise a family here as Bennington grows at a rapid pace. Supporting our schools and providing a quality education for every student is my top priority — and I understand the real financial challenges that come with that growth. I'm committed to ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent wisely, while continuing to support the teachers and staff who help Bennington maintain the high standards our community expects.

I'm asking for your vote this November to help build a school board focused on practical, budget-conscious decisions that put students first.
